Claudia Shevtshenko’s jubilee concert “Fiesta Flamenca”

Claudia Shevtshenko is one of the pioneers who has brought flamenco dance to Estonia and the founder of the Estonian flamenco school. She graduated from Tallinn University faculty of cultural education (theatre specialty) and then studied choreography. Since 1991 she has owned a flamenco dance studio and a flamenco troupe of her own name. She has been an actress, dancer and choreographer in various theatres and films and has collaborated with various musicians from Estonia and abroad. For the past 20 years she has been a contracted dancer and choreographer at the Estonian National Opera.

The concert will feature new and older dances that have been in the repertoire for many years.
