STF 2024: MODINA showcase

MODINA (Movement, Digital Intelligence and Interactive Audience) is an international residency project working on expanding the creative possibilities of contemporary dance through digital technology, with an emphasis on exploring artificial intelligence (AI) and audience interaction both on-site and online. During Sõltumatu Tantsu Festival (STF) we will be showing three projects that have been developed during the residency.

Sarah Fdili Alaoui, John Sullivan “For Patricia”
“For Patricia” is an ode to the founder of postmodern dance, Trisha Brown, where the choreography and sound design are generated in real-time in collaboration with AI and the audience.
