Movement workshop: Searching for Experience is meant for those interested in researching their potential. Participation does not require previous experience in contemporary dance. Itis important to want to study the potential of one’s movement.
The research questions of the workshop are: How much potential do we have? Where are our limits? What do we notice? What do we not? Where are the borders between knowing and unknowing? How to think collectively and individually at the same time?
Methods, that will be used and solutions, that will be found depend on the participants of the workshop. Participation will not guarantee anything other than participant’s own personal experience.
The workshop is instructed by Ruslan Stepanov, an outstanding Estonian choreographer. Stepanov has worked as a dancer and a choreographer for Vanemuine Ballet, companies in Görlitz and Berlin, Germany and at the moment is a freelance artist in Estonia.
