The entertaining and fundraising 12-hour dance marathon invites to dance for a good cause. The aim of dance marathon is to acknowledge and celebrate movement culture while turning focus towards those who need help and those who hold a weaker position in our society. We wish to increase the awareness of movement and dance, emphasizing the fact that all people with different kinds of physical training, abilities and form are equal and included on dance floor.
There are several ways to participate:

The dance-based endurance race is taking place from 12 a.m till 12 p.m, from midday till midnight, during which the referees look for the contestants and evaluate their dancing. Every hour, a different DJ is playing music and the evening is led by hosts whose task is to cheer and energise the contestants as well. The referees also decide the ones who will get the prizes given out by our supporters and different companies. On the last hour, the geenral winner is chosen through a dance battle, hosted by Estonian Break Dance Society. The general winner gets a prize of 500 euros.
The lighting design is created by Karolin Tamm.
